Anders Pederstad has worked extensively with climate change issues and carbon strategies within a range of sectors since 2005. He works with Carbon Limits on a wide range of topics, covering screening and development of CDM- and JI-projects under the Kyoto protocol in Russia, the Middle East and West Africa, development of new CDM methodologies under registration with the UNFCCC, socio economic analysis of CCS projects in Northern Europe and evaluation of the interface between the petroleum and energy sector (electrification of North Sea offshore platforms). He participated in setting up the Carbon Management Unit of Masdar in 2007 and has carried out techno-economic modelling and evaluation of large-scale CO2 value chains for Shell EP Europe’s corporate strategy unit. He has also maintained and built tax- and economic models for industry associations and small- and mid-sized oil companies. He is with the Carbon Limits based in Oslo office and assist as expert on technical issues for the Nigerian office.
