Mr. Parks has twenty-five years of experience in the energy, environment and development fields; working with oil and gas companies, international organizations and government. His work in energy has included chief economist for the largest gas transmission company in North America and a senior expert for the International Energy Agency in Paris on oil market issues. He served in the US State Department in the Clinton Administration; and then worked on development projects in Southeastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He has worked on CDM gas flare reduction projects in Nigeria and globally for more than five years. He is a founding partner in Carbon Limits AS in Norway. He has a Master’s in Public Policy from Harvard University, as well as undergraduate degrees in Geology and Economics. He divides his time between Nigeria and Europe.
